Bihar Agricultural University Launches Agricultural Research Challenge 2025 for Innovative Student Ideas
Sabour: Bihar Agricultural University (BAU), Sabour, in partnership with Sabour Agri Incubators (SABAGRIS) and the Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), has launched the Bihar Agricultural Research Challenge (BAU ARC 2025). The event offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students in agriculture and related fields across Bihar a platform to present their research in an innovative and impactful manner.
Participants from agricultural universities and other institutes in Bihar are required to submit a concise presentation of their research using a single, static PowerPoint slide, with no animations, and deliver it within five minutes. The submissions will be judged by an eminent panel of experts on clarity, research relevance, audience engagement, and the local or global impact of the findings.
The competition aims to encourage research that addresses real-world agricultural challenges and drives meaningful change. Presentations should clearly outline the research question, methodology, results, and implications while remaining accessible to a general audience.
The top three presentations will be awarded cash prizes: ₹10,000 for first place, ₹5,000 for second place, and ₹3,000 for third place.
Dr A.K. Singh, Director of Research at BAU and convener of BAU ARC 2025, highlighted the event’s significance:
“The Bihar Agricultural Research Challenge is a unique opportunity for students to present their research in an innovative and engaging manner. It fosters creativity and excellence, crucial for addressing pressing challenges in the agricultural sector.”
Dr D.R. Singh, Vice-Chancellor of BAU, echoed these sentiments:

This competition encourages students to think beyond traditional boundaries and explore research that can transform agriculture in Bihar and globally.”
Students wishing to participate must submit their presentation slides by 5:00 pm on January 30, 2025, through the link https://shorturl.at/RP9Ki. Shortlisted participants will present their slides to an expert panel, with further details provided after the review process.
