Patna: Dr. Prem Kumar, Bihar’s Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, announced in the Legislative Assembly that the Bihar State Pollution Control Board has granted approval for the establishment and operation of two industrial units dedicated to the scientific disposal of e-waste. This announcement came in response to a query from Pawan Kumar Jaiswal, a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly.

The environment minister specified that the approved units are Shri Ramsagar E-Waste Recyclers and Traders, located in Kharsam village, Samastipur district, and Shri U.S.H. India Recyclers Pvt. Ltd., situated in the Industrial Area of Barun, Aurangabad district. These units are set to commence operations once they are registered on the Centralized E-Waste EPR Portal, developed by the Central Pollution Control Board in Delhi.
