Bihar Business Connect 23: Global Investors’ Summit Attracts Investments Worth Rs 50,000 Crore
PATNA – Over two days, on the 13th and 14th of December, Bihar witnessed a substantial surge in investment commitments, with MOUs exceeding Rs 50,000 crore being signed during the Bihar Business Connect 23: The Global Investors’ Summit held in Patna.
The grand event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during the plenary session at Gyan Bhawan, Patna.
Reflecting on the summit, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed satisfaction in meeting approximately 1500 industry representatives from across the country and 16 other nations. He highlighted the various steps taken by the state government to foster industry and entrepreneurship in Bihar. Emphasizing the conducive environment for establishing industries, the Chief Minister noted that the state government is actively providing facilities to encourage entrepreneurs.
During the summit, pivotal MoUs related to investment proposals in Bihar were inked between major companies and the Industries Department. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also took the opportunity to inaugurate the Logistics Policy-2023 and release the coffee table book of the Industry Department.
Additional Chief Secretary Industries, Sandeep Poundrik, provided further insights into the summit, revealing that more than 600 companies actively participated, leading to investment commitments exceeding Rs 50,000 crore.
The successful conclusion of Bihar Business Connect 23 showcased the state’s growing prominence as a lucrative investment destination, drawing interest and commitments from a diverse range of industries.
