Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Attends Mahashivratri Celebrations, Offers Prayers at Shiv Mandir in Patna

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar participated in the Abhinandan Mahotsav of the Mahashivratri Shobha Yatra near Shiv Mandir in Khajpura, Nehru Marg, on the occasion of Mahashivratri. He offered aarti to Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, and Nandi, praying for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of Bihar.
During the celebrations, CM Nitish welcomed the organizations participating in the Shobha Yatra by presenting them with tokens of appreciation. The event’s organizers honored the chief minister with a shawl and a memento. The procession dedicated to Lord Shiva was greeted with a grand aarti and a shower of flowers. CM Nitish also visited Shiv Mandir in Khajpura, where he offered prayers to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Several dignitaries attended the event, including Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, former Sikkim Governor Ganga Prasad, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Deepak Kumar, MLA Sanjeev Chaurasia, JD(U) National General Secretary Manish Kumar Verma, and Chief Minister’s Special Officer Gopal Singh. Former General Secretary of the State Citizens Council, Arvind Kumar, along with other public representatives and a large number of devotees, were also present.
