Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Attends Nari Shakti Sammelan at JD(U) Office in Patna on International Women’s Day

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the Nari Shakti Sammelan, organized by the Bihar Pradesh Mahila Janata Dal (United), to mark International Women’s Day at the Karpoori Auditorium in the JD (U) office here.
CM Nitish lit a ceremonial lamp and extended his greetings to the women present at the event. Dr. Bharti Mehta, president of JD (U)’s Bihar State Women’s Cell, welcomed him with a bouquet, a shawl, and a symbolic memento. Women in attendance applauded as the Chief Minister took the stage.
Addressing the gathering, CM Nitish reiterated his government’s commitment to women’s empowerment and self-reliance. “Since the beginning, we have worked continuously to uplift and empower women. Those who had the opportunity earlier did nothing to promote women’s welfare. Today, I am happy to see a large number of women progressing in every field,” he said.
The event was attended by key leaders, including Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Transport Minister Sheela Mandal, JD (U)’s Executive National President and MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha, MLC Sanjay Kumar Singh (Gandhiji), and former minister Ranju Geeta. A large number of women also participated in the event, celebrating their contributions to society.
