Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Inaugurates State-of-the-Art Textile Park and Britannia Biscuit Factory in Sikandarpur Industrial Area
Patna: A significant stride in Bihar’s industrial landscape unfolded as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday inaugurated the Textile Park and Britannia Biscuit Factory, both monumental projects constructed at a substantial cost in the Sikandarpur industrial area of the Bihta block. The inauguration ceremony, graced by Industry Minister Sameer Mahaseth and Finance Minister Vijay Chaudhary, witnessed the presence of key departmental officials.
State Industries Minister Sameer Mahaseth underscored Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s visionary goal to retain the workforce within Bihar, ensuring that residents find employment opportunities within the state’s borders. The minister emphasized the importance of creating an environment where individuals can lead better lives by working locally, highlighting the economic benefits that come with it.
“The inauguration of the Textile Park and Britannia Biscuit Factory by the CM signifies a major step towards providing employment opportunities for the people of the state,” noted Minister Mahaseth. He pointed out that these initiatives align with Chief Minister Kumar’s vision to bring prosperity to Bihar and reduce the need for workers to seek employment outside the state.
Addressing the gathered audience, Minister Mahaseth expressed optimism that the newly inaugurated facilities would not only create job opportunities but also attract laborers who previously sought work elsewhere. The Chief Minister Entrepreneur Scheme, an integral part of this vision, has already initiated various projects, with both the Textile Park and Britannia Biscuit Factory commencing operations today.
The inauguration marks a significant investment in Bihar’s industrial infrastructure, promising economic growth and employment opportunities for the state’s residents. As the Textile Park and Britannia Biscuit Factory begin their operations, there is anticipation for a positive impact on the local workforce and the overall economic landscape of Bihar.
