Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, along with Deputy CMs Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha, inspected the under-construction terminal building at Patna Airport. The new terminal, which is anticipated to be completed by the end of this year, is expected to be fully operational by April 2025.

Once completed, the new terminal will significantly enhance the airport’s capacity, enabling it to handle up to 1 crore passengers annually—nearly three times the current capacity of 34 lakh passengers. The facility will also expand the airport’s aircraft parking capacity, allowing it to accommodate 12 aircraft simultaneously, compared to the current capacity of just six.
