Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s Aide Sanjay Jha Meets Amit Shah in Delhi Ahead of UK Tour
Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Jha are embarking on a foreign tour, marking a significant juncture in Bihar’s political landscape. Prior to their departure, Jha, a close aide to the Chief Minister, held discussions with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, as revealed on the social media platform X.
Sharing details of the meeting on X, Sanjay Jha posted a photo of his encounter with Amit Shah, stating, “Met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi today. Many important issues of state interest and public interest were discussed. During this, he was also presented a copy of the book ‘History of Navya-Nyaya in Mithila’ written by Shri Dinesh Chandra Bhattacharya.”
Chief Minister Nitish and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Jha are scheduled to depart for the UK this evening. Nitish’s itinerary includes an inspection of the roadmap for the UK’s largest science city, with plans to replicate the model in Rajendra Nagar, Patna, aiming to establish Asia’s largest science city.
Meanwhile, discussions regarding seat distribution within the NDA alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections remain ongoing. Talks between the BJP and JDU regarding seat sharing are anticipated, with Sanjay Jha, assuming the role of Nitish’s envoy, reportedly conveying views on seat allocation during his meeting with Amit Shah. Finalization of seat distribution within the NDA is expected in the coming days.
Additionally, a BJP core committee meeting is convened in Delhi, featuring prominent figures such as Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha, underscoring the significance of ongoing political deliberations. Sanjay Jha’s involvement in central politics marks a pivotal moment following Bihar’s political realignments and the formation of the NDA government. As a key ally of the NDA, Jha will advocate for JD (U)’s interests in the Rajya Sabha.
Amidst his visit to Delhi, Sanjay Jha extended gratitude to Amit Shah and expressed courtesy before embarking on the foreign tour alongside Chief Minister Nitish. Jha is set to accompany Nitish on a week-long tour of the UK.
