Bihar: CUSB Student Aditya Wins Silver Medal in National Para Athletics Championship in Goa

GAYA – Renowned for its academic excellence along with co-curricular activities, the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has once again been crowned with glory by its student Aditya Raj Gautam.

Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mohammad Mudassir Alam said that Aditya Raj Gautam, an LLM student at CUSB, has won the silver medal in the Javelin category T-38 at the 22nd National Para Athletics Championship held in Goa. With this victory, Aditya has qualified for the upcoming World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2024 to be held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

Along with Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, Registrar Col Rajiv Kumar Singh, Chairman of the Sports Committee Prof. Pradhan Partha Sarathi, DSW Prof. P. K. Mishra, and the entire university fraternity, have congratulated Aditya on his grand achievement. VC Prof. Singh praised Aditya and said that this is a significant achievement not only for the university but for the entire state of Bihar. This accomplishment on the playing field will inspire and encourage other students of the University and Bihar as well. The Vice-Chancellor also assured Aditya of all possible help to continue the game. VC Prof. K. N. Singh praised the efforts of Chairman Prof. P. P. Sarathi, Dr. Jitendra Pratap Singh (Assistant Director, Physical Education), as well as other members of the committee for their persistent guidance provided to the students.

DSW Prof. Pawan Kumar Mishra congratulated Aditya for winning the medal and also said that continuing sports along with studying law is a very challenging task which Aditya has done. Assistant Director of Physical Education Dr. J. P. Singh also congratulated Aditya and said that this is a significant achievement in the sports department of the university, and it is a matter of joy that the students here are winning medals at the national level.
