Bihar: Fatal Accident on Arrah-Buxar National Highway Leaves Two Dead, One Severely Injured
ARRAH – A high speeding Scorpio struck three friends riding a motorcycle near the Bilauti village on the Arrah-Buxar National Highway, situated within the Shahpur police station area of Bhojpur district. The mishap led to the fatalities of two individuals, while the third sustained critical injuries. The driver of the speeding Scorpio fled the scene immediately following the incident.
The deceased include Alok Kumar, 16-year-old son of Mantu Chaudhary, resident of Banhaiji Dera village of Dumraon police station area of Buxar district, and Shubhmat alias Bittu Kumar, 16-year-old son of Madan Chaudhary.
The injured youth is also Arjun Chaudhary, 18-year-old son of Saral Chaudhary of the same village. The cause of the accident is said to be uncontrolled operation and triple loading on a bike. Post-mortem examinations for the deceased were conducted at the Sadar Hospital.
According to Mantu Choudhary, the father of the deceased Alok Kumar, a wedding in the village was the reason for the trio’s journey. They were en route to Jagdishpur police station area’s Baulipar village on Wednesday morning to join the celebrations. However, tragedy struck near the Bilauti village when an out-of-control Scorpio approached from the opposite direction and collided with their bike.
As a consequence, all three friends sustained severe injuries, requiring immediate medical attention. They were rushed to Arrah Sadar Hospital for treatment.
Alok Kumar and Bittu Kumar succumbed to their injuries while still en route. Arjun Choudhary’s condition was deemed critical, necessitating his transfer to Patna after initial treatment.
Upon receiving information about the incident, family members rushed to Arrah Sadar Hospital. The aftermath of the accident stirred considerable commotion and concern among locals in the area, prompting swift action and response efforts.
