Bihar Foundation Celebrates Bihar Diwas Across 10 Cities in India

Patna: Bihar Foundation successfully organized Bihar Day celebrations from March 22 to 24, in ten major cities across India, including Mumbai, Surat, Pune, Goa, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Siliguri, Sikkim, Chandigarh, and Bengaluru. The event showcased Bihar’s rich cultural heritage through folk music, dance performances, and exhibitions of traditional art and handicrafts. A large number of senior officials, expatriate Biharis, and local residents participated in the celebrations.

As part of the celebrations, Bihar Foundation was also represented in the Bihar government’s program at Delhi Haat in the capital on March 22. Additionally, Bihar Foundation chapters in the USA, Netherlands, and Australia organized Bihar Diwas events, highlighting the global presence of Bihar’s culture and traditions. The celebrations provided a platform to promote the state’s industrial progress and various government welfare schemes, with brochures and promotional materials distributed during the events.

On March 24, Bihar Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Surat, concluding the three-day nationwide celebrations. The event honored the contributions of Biharis living in different parts of the country and reinforced their deep-rooted connection with their home state. The presence of vibrant cultural performances and business promotions emphasized Bihar’s growing influence beyond its borders.

Bihar Foundation, operating under the Department of Industries, aims to connect the Bihari diaspora emotionally and professionally with their home state. It works towards fostering unity, promoting Bihar’s positive image, and encouraging investment and industrial growth. With the continued support of Biharis across the globe, the foundation has expanded to 30 chapters, including 16 international and 14 national chapters, strengthening its mission of Bonding, Branding, and Business.
