Patna: In a bid to boost the quality of education in government schools across Bihar, the state’s Education Department has recognised 61 teachers with the ‘Teacher of the Month’ award for April. The initiative aims to encourage and motivate educators at the block level by acknowledging their exemplary performance.
The selection was made on the recommendation of Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, S Siddharth. Each awardee has been presented with a certificate of appreciation for their contribution to improving classroom learning.

Also honoured are Baidyanath Rajak from Kanya Prathmik Vidyalaya in Husanpur, Birju Kumar of Manjhelihat Middle School in Purnia, Usha Kumari from Primary School Thakurbari Mushari Tola in Kaswa, and Anam Sheikh of Mahant Ramji Das Shashi Bhushan Das Project Girls High School in East Champaran.
