Bihar: Man’s Private Organ Amputated, Wife And Lover Suspected

Crime

DARBHANGA – A shocking incident unfolded as a young man was admitted to DMCH in critical condition, with private organ amputated on Tuesday.

The 26 year-old victim hails from the Pratapganj police station area in Supaul district. The incident, believed to have occurred on Monday night, has left him in a serious condition, sparking accusations against his wife and her lover.

The injured man, who works in a private company in Gujarat, returned home after seven months on Monday. However, the joyous reunion took a grim turn when he, after having dinner, went missing from his house. His elder brother, who arrived at DMCH, recounted the events, revealing that he was discovered unconscious near a mango tree west of the house the next morning.

Accusations have been leveled against his wife, alleging her involvement in the incident alongside her lover. The victim’s family disclosed that the victim had been subjected to physical abuse by his wife on multiple occasions in the past. The situation escalated on Monday night when four to five men reportedly entered the house during a power failure.

The assailants, tying his mouth, forcefully took him outside where they brutally amputated his private part with a sharp weapon. The vicious attack also resulted in severe head injuries. The relatives promptly rushed him to Supaul Hospital, from where he was urgently referred to DMCH due to the critical nature of his injuries.

Despite the heinous nature of the crime, the relatives have not yet filed a report with the police station. The circumstances surrounding the assault and the delay in reporting raise questions about the challenges his family may be facing in pursuing legal action.
