A terrible road accident took place late on Thursday night in the Pakribarawan area of Nawada district. Three friends were riding on a bike when they collided with a truck near the Kachana turn around 11pm. All three lost their lives in the crash, leaving their families and village in deep shock.
The victims have been identified as Raju Kumar and Amit Kumar from Shanti Nagar in Pakribarawan, and Vikas Kumar from Shumbhka village in Sheikhpura district. Raju and Amit died on the spot. Vikas was taken to Sadar Hospital in Nawada for treatment, but he also died soon after reaching the hospital.
Family members were informed around midnight, and the bodies were taken to the Community Health Centre in Pakribarawan. The scene there was filled with grief. Raju was the eldest son in his family, Amit was his mother’s only child, and Vikas was also the eldest among his brothers. The accident has left three families completely devastated.
Pakribarawan police station in-charge Sneha Kumari confirmed the incident. She said the police reached the spot quickly, took the bodies into custody, and sent them for post-mortem. The bodies have now been handed over to the families. Police are continuing with further investigation.
