Bihar: Naxalites Release Kidnapped Munshi In Gaya District After Five Days, Had Demanded Rs 30 Lakh Levy
GAYA – The relentless pressure applied by the police on Naxalites has yielded positive results as they released Munshi Shahbaz late in the evening on Thursday near Bankedham in Banke Bazaar.
Upon receiving confirmation of Shahbaz’s release, senior police officers swiftly convened at Bankebazar police station to oversee the ongoing investigation. Construction company engineers, Amarendra and Anil, played a crucial role in providing details about the release. They affirmed that the Naxalites left Shahbaz at approximately 8 pm, prompting an immediate notification to the police.
Engineer Amarendra shared insights into the incident, stating that Anil Kumar, an associate engineer residing in a rented house in Bankebazar, was surprised when Shahbaz arrived at his room around 8 pm. Shahbaz informed Anil that the Naxalites had left him near Bankedham, and they had traveled on foot to Anil’s place. Anil promptly reported Shahbaz’s presence to the Bankebazar police, who swiftly arrived at the spot and took Shahbaz into their custody.
