Bihar School Examination Board Announces Scrutiny Dates for Matriculation Annual Examination 2024
Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has disclosed the dates for the scrutiny of answer sheets for the Matriculation Annual Examination 2024. Students dissatisfied with their marks in any subject(s) have the opportunity to apply for scrutiny of their answer sheets from April 3rd to April 9th, 2024.
To initiate the scrutiny process, students can visit the application website at http://secondary.biharboardonline.com. A fee of Rs 120 per subject is required to be deposited for each subject under scrutiny. The scrutiny committee has outlined specific areas for correction, including ensuring that marks on the front cover match those on the pages inside the answer sheet. Additionally, any errors in the total marks provided will be rectified, and any unanswered questions or sections will be evaluated to potentially improve scores.
It’s important to note that the outcome of the scrutiny may result in marks increasing, decreasing, or remaining the same. Furthermore, students who have failed in up to two subjects in the Matriculation Examination 2024 may also opt to appear for the Secondary Compartmental Examination 2024. However, if a student passes the Matriculation Examination based on the scrutiny results, the result of the Matriculation Examination will be considered valid, and not the result of the Secondary Compartmental Examination.
