Begusarai: Amit Shah, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, and senior BJP leader, took to the podium in Jhanjharpur and Begusarai, Bihar, on Monday, rallying support for the NDA candidates.

Shah commenced his address by lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recognition of Karpoori Thakur’s contributions, contrasting it with alleged neglect by Congress and RJD. Thakur’s elevation to the status of Bharat Ratna symbolizes Modi’s commitment to empowering backward classes, Shah emphasized, drawing parallels between Thakur’s grassroots activism and Modi’s ascent from a modest background.
Asserting the indisputable victory of Prime Minister Modi, Shah dismissed alternative leadership prospects within the INDI alliance, citing a lack of credible contenders capable of steering the nation effectively. He extolled Modi’s leadership during crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic and counterterrorism efforts, highlighting India’s global stature under his stewardship.
Addressing regional concerns, Shah championed initiatives spearheaded by Nitish Kumar’s leadership in Mithila, praising efforts to revitalize local industries and cultural heritage. He celebrated the recognition of Maithili language in the Eighth Schedule and lauded infrastructural projects aimed at modernizing the region.
Shah condemned dynastic politics and alleged corruption within opposition ranks, urging voters to endorse BJP candidates Rampreet Mandal and Giriraj Singh to ensure Modi’s continued leadership and the nation’s progress.
In a sweeping narrative, Shah articulated Modi’s transformative agenda, from housing and healthcare provisions to infrastructure development, framing his leadership as essential for India’s journey from traditionalism to modernity.
