Following the video’s circulation, the administration has issued a letter detailing disciplinary action against Mishra. According to the letter, she has been reassigned to the Revenue and Land Reforms Department at the Patna headquarters. This move is seen as an administrative response pending further investigation into the bribe allegations.

The video in question shows CO Shreya Mishra accepting a bundle of currency notes, with a visible exchange of words about the amount being handed over. While the face of the person giving the bribe is not visible, the interaction clearly involves a financial transaction related to official work.

The video was initially misattributed to Shahpur block in Bhojpur district but has since been confirmed to be from Chhapra.
