Patna: On the fourth day of the Army recruitment drive, an impressive display of patriotism unfolded at the Agniveer Recruitment Rally organized by the Recruitment Office in Danapur on Sunday. Approximately 750 enthusiastic youth hailing from Saran and Gopalganj districts of Bihar participated in the ongoing Agniveer Army Restoration (general duty) category, demonstrating their mettle in a rigorous physical efficiency test.

The Army recruitment race kicked off at 5am on the recruitment rally ground in Danapur, showcasing the commitment of these youth from Saran and the border district of Gopalganj to serve their country as part of the Agniveer forces. The candidates exhibited remarkable physical prowess throughout the demanding process of physical tests, illustrating their unwavering passion for national service.

Under the vigilant eye of the district administration in Patna, robust arrangements were put in place at the rally site to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.

Danapur Municipal Council, along with Patna District Administration, provided essential facilities for the attending youth. These provisions included access to drinking water, reasonably priced food, and strategically located toilets. In a noteworthy initiative, the district administration deployed five buses near the exit gate of the rally venue, facilitating convenient transportation for candidates from the rally exit gate to Saguna Mor. Candidates appreciated this effort, acknowledging the increased convenience in commuting from the rally venue.

Addressing the candidates, Colonel Karan Mehta, recruitment director at the recruitment office in Danapur, urged future participants to carefully review the instructions outlined in the admit card and rally notification before arriving at the venue. He emphasized the importance of bringing all necessary documents, including class 10 and 12 mark sheets, board certificates, permanent resident certificates, character certificates issued by the office of Sarpanch and Superintendent of Police (SP), Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, bank account details, caste certificates, affidavits, and other documents specified in the rally notification.

Mehta highlighted the significance of reporting to the rally venue on the scheduled date and time for medical examination, ensuring a seamless process for successful candidates.

Looking ahead, candidates from Patna and Siwan districts are poised to participate in the physical efficiency test of Agniveer (GD) on Monday, November 27, testing their luck in joining the ranks of those dedicated to the service of the nation.
