BSNL to Roll Out 4G Services Across Bihar by December 2024
Patna: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is set to enhance its services for consumers across Bihar by introducing 4G connectivity in every district. The state-owned telecom company has already established 400 Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) and plans to activate an additional 3,200 BTS by December 2024.

Future Plans for 5G:
– Following the 4G rollout, these BTS will be upgraded to support 5G services.
– The complete transition to 5G is expected to be phased and completed by March 2025.
– BSNL has already been allocated the spectrum for 5G, with plans to start 5G services using the same BTS from June 2025.
