Cameras to be Installed in 31 PM Shri Schools in Patna; Uniforms Mandatory for Students
Patna: Efforts are underway to modernize 31 schools in Patna district that have been granted PM Shri status. CCTV cameras will be installed across these schools, covering classrooms and the entire campus to monitor student activities. The District Education Office has confirmed the selection of these schools for the PM Shri status.
Students attending these schools are required to wear uniforms daily. While primary school students are given some leniency, those in PM Shri schools will not be allowed to enter without proper uniforms, as the administration focuses on maintaining discipline.
In addition, the District Education Officer, Sanjay Kumar, has requested reports from Block Education Officers on the status of rainwater harvesting systems installed in these schools. The report will include details on the functionality of these systems and their benefits to the schools.
Libraries in secondary, higher secondary, and PM Shri schools will also be stocked with a set of textbooks from classes 9 to 12, alongside magazines related to competitive exams and newspapers in both Hindi and English. The Block Education Officers have been asked to provide a list for this purpose.
