Chief Minister Launches ‘Destination Bihar Expo 2024’, Tours Exhibition Stalls
Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ceremoniously inaugurated the ‘Destination Bihar – Expo 2024’ program, organized jointly by the Bihar Industry Association and the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), at Gandhi Maidan here. The event commenced with the Chief Minister cutting the ribbon and inaugurating the program by lighting a lamp and releasing balloons.
During the inauguration, CM Nitish toured the exhibition stalls, which showcased products from various industrial units and state departments, offering insights into Bihar’s industrial landscape. Approximately 250 units participated in the exhibition, along with stalls representing various state government departments and undertakings, highlighting Bihar’s development and achievements.
The ‘Destination Bihar – Expo 2024’ is a five-day industrial exhibition aimed at showcasing the state’s resources, advancements across different sectors, and future prospects. The event is anticipated to attract industrial investment, fostering further industrialization and economic growth in Bihar.
Dignitaries present at the inauguration included Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. S. Siddharth, Additional Chief Secretary of the Industries Department Sandeep Poundrick, Secretary to the Chief Minister Anupam Kumar, President of the Bihar Industries Association KPS Kesari, Chairman of the Expo Organizing Committee Ram Lal Khaitan, Vice Presidents Ashish Rohatgi and Narendra Kumar, General Secretary Gaurav Sah, former Treasurer Manish Tiwari, Patna District Magistrate Shirshat Kapil Ashok, Senior Superintendent of Police Rajiv Mishra, along with other senior officials and industry entrepreneurs.
