St. Xavier’s College of Management & Technology Hosts International Conference on Futuristic Trends in Science, Engineering, and Management

Patna: The International Conference on Futuristic Trends in Science, Engineering, and Management 2024, jointly organized by the Department of Business Administration, St. Xavier’s College of Management & Technology (SXCMT), Patna, and Global Conference Hub, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, concluded on Saturday after two days of enriching discussions, insightful presentations, and fruitful collaborations.

The conference, held on Friday and Saturday, brought together researchers, academicians, industry practitioners, and students from around the world to exchange ideas, share research findings, and discuss emerging trends in science, engineering, and management.

The conference attracted 804 participants from 10 countries and 27 states across India, including 234 participants from colleges and universities.

With a diverse range of topics covered, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Sustainable Development and Environmental Management, Digital Transformation in Business and Industry 4.0, Biotechnology and Healthcare Innovations, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, Renewable Energy and Green Technologies, Supply Chain Management and Logistics, and Financial Technology (FinTech) and Blockchain Applications, the conference provided a comprehensive platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The conference commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by eminent personalities from academia and industry. Fr. Dr. Martin Poras SJ, Principal of SXCMT, and Piyush Ranjan Sahay, Convener of the conference, delivered the welcome address, expressing their gratitude to all participants for their presence and contributions. The inaugural session also featured keynote speeches from distinguished scholars and industry experts, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing global challenges and driving innovation.

Over the course of two days, the conference hosted parallel sessions where participants presented their research papers, case studies, and innovative ideas, fostering engaging discussions and networking opportunities. Additionally, the conference featured panel discussions, workshops, and poster presentations, providing avenues for interactive learning and skill development.

A notable highlight of the conference was the keynote sessions delivered by esteemed speakers. Dr. Shreekumar T, Associate Professor at Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering, Mangalore, Karnataka, India, delivered an insightful keynote address on “IoT in Healthcare,” emphasizing the transformative potential of Internet of Things technology in revolutionizing healthcare delivery. On the second day, Dr. ABD. Ghofur, Associate Professor at IAIN Madura, Indonesia, delivered a captivating keynote address on “Exploring Emotional Intelligence and its Impact on College Success,” offering practical insights for enhancing self-awareness and interpersonal relationships among college students.

In the valedictory session, notable contributions were recognized, and certificates were distributed to presenters and organizers. Fr. Dr. Martin Poras SJ, Principal of SXCMT, Piyush Ranjan Sahay, Head of the Department of Business Administration at SXCMT, and the team of Global Conference Hub expressed their appreciation to all participants, sponsors, and supporters for their unwavering enthusiasm and commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering excellence in research and education.

Overall, the International Conference on Futuristic Trends in Science, Engineering, and Management 2024 was a resounding success, serving as a platform for intellectual exchange, collaboration, and innovation. The organizers look forward to continued engagement and future editions of the conference.
