Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction work of the Patna Metro Rail Project, emphasizing the need for expedited completion. During his visit, he reviewed the progress at key stations, including Rajendra Nagar, Moinul Haq Stadium, Malahi Pakadi, Khemnichak, Zero Mile, and ISBT Metro Station. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of adhering to the action plan to ensure the metro’s timely completion and subsequent benefits to the residents of Patna.

The Chief Minister’s directive aims to alleviate transportation challenges in Patna, a city grappling with growing traffic congestion. By fast-tracking the metro project, the government hopes to provide a modern, efficient public transport system, significantly improving daily commutes for thousands of residents. The metro rail is expected to transform urban mobility, offering a reliable alternative to road transport.
