CM Nitish Kumar Orders Quick Work on Rajgir Stadium and Buddha Circuit Road

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has asked officials to finish the Rajgir stadium and Buddha Circuit road quickly to help people and boost tourism

Rajgir: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited Rajgir on Thursday to check the construction work of the new cricket stadium at the Rajgir Sports Complex. Officials told him that the stadium will seat 40,000 people and will have all needed facilities for players, spectators, and the media. Kumar asked them to ensure good quality work and complete it on time.

After visiting the stadium, he held a meeting at the Rajgir International Convention Center. Officials gave him updates about other development works in Rajgir and the construction of alternative roads to improve connectivity. The Chief Minister told them to speed up these works so that people can benefit soon.

On his way to Rajgir, Kumar inspected the planned route of the Salepur-Rajgir Buddha Circuit four-lane road near Salepur turn and Belua. Officials explained that an elevated road would be built over the railway line on this route. He said the work should start soon to make travel between Patna and Rajgir easier and faster.

The Chief Minister also checked the progress of a diversion under construction in Hasanpur. He instructed officials to complete it quickly. Many senior officials and local leaders were present during his inspections.
