DPS Patna East Inter-House Cricket Tournament Heats Up: Chenab and Krishna Houses Advance to Finals

Patna: The inter-house cricket tournament at DPS Patna East Daulatpur School witnessed thrilling action on Wednesday, as Chenab House and Krishna House secured their spots in the finals.
The day commenced with an enthusiastic inauguration by school principal, Dr. Rakesh Alfred, who interacted with the participating players. Distinguished guests, including DHA Mohammad Asfaq Iqbal, Subajit Sarkar, cricket coach Rupak Kumar, PHE teachers Neeraj Kumar, Aditya Kumar, and Aman Kumar, were also present. Janvi welcomed the gathering, and Meenu Dubey delivered the vote of thanks.
In the first semi-final, Chenab House faced Kaveri House. Chenab House posted a total of 104 runs for 5 wickets in their allotted 16 overs, with notable contributions from Ayush Kumar (36), Arthav Mishra (22), and Ayush Sah (20). Kaveri House struggled in their chase, being bowled out for 62 runs in 14.2 overs. Pritam, Ayush Kumar, and Ayush Sah each took three wickets for Chenab House. Ayush Kumar was awarded Player of the Match for his all-round performance.
The second semi-final saw Krishna House clash with Ganga House. Ganga House was dismissed for a paltry 42 runs in 12.2 overs, with Saif Alam of Krishna House taking an impressive 4 wickets for 14 runs. Krishna House successfully chased the target, scoring 45 runs for 6 wickets in 10.1 overs, with Piyush Pratyush (16 not out) and Rishu Kumar (11 not out) guiding them to victory. Saif Alam was named Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling display.
