East Central Railway Wins First Prize for Excellence in Official Language Implementation

Hajipur: East Central Railway has been awarded the first prize for outstanding work in the implementation of the official language Hindi. The Railway Minister Rajbhasha Shield was presented to East Central Railway by Satish Kumar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Railway Board, during a program held at Rail Bhavan, New Delhi. The event was attended by senior officials of the Railway Board.

This achievement is a matter of great pride for East Central Railway, recognizing its excellence in promoting the official language. The award highlights the railway’s commitment to the effective use of Hindi in official work and communication.

The award was received by Chief Official Language Officer cum Principal Chief Material Manager, Vijay Kumar, on behalf of East Central Railway. His efforts, along with those of the entire team, contributed to this significant recognition.

Additionally, retired Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer of East Central Railway, Amit Kumar Agarwal, was honored with the Railway Minister Rajbhasha Silver Medal for his contributions to the implementation of the official language. This recognition further underscores the railway’s dedication to Hindi language promotion and compliance.
