Ambulance Driver Kills Pregnant Wife in Begusarai, Disposes of Body and Reports for Duty

West Champaran (Bihar): A fatal road accident occurred in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting from high speed and overloading. A vehicle transporting migrant laborers from Jammu to Srinagar veered off the national highway, plunging into a deep gorge around 300 meters away.

The incident claimed the lives of ten people, including the driver. Following an eight-hour rescue operation amidst adverse weather conditions, the bodies were recovered from the gorge.

The deceased comprise eight individuals from Bihar, one from Uttar Pradesh, and one resident of Jammu. Most of them were relatives traveling to Srinagar for employment.

All the victims hailed from Paschim Champaran district’s Bagaha area, including Avdhesh Bin, Belas Bin, Indrajit Bin, Bipin Mukhiya, Raj Kumar Bin, Hari Binapuksh Chanar Bin, Raju Kumar, and Rajan Mukhiya.

Although the vehicle’s capacity was for eight passengers, it was carrying ten individuals. President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh expressed profound grief over the tragedy. A sum of two lakh rupees each was sanctioned to the families of the deceased from the PM Relief Fund.
