New Delhi: The families of those killed in the Pahalgam terror attack were overwhelmed with emotion upon hearing the news of the Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor, which targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan at midnight. The announcement triggered an outpouring of grief, but also a deep sense of gratitude from those who had lost loved ones in the attack.

The women who lost their husbands in the tragic assault spoke about the significance of the operation’s name and expressed their wholehearted support for the military action. They thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership in avenging their loss and expressed pride in the response to the terror attack.

Shubham Dwivedi’s wife, who was among the victims, shared her emotions with a sense of solemn pride. “I thank Prime Minister Modi very much that he avenged my husband’s death. And the way he (Pakistan) responded, he has kept our trust intact. This is a true tribute to my husband,” she said.

Similarly, Asawari Jagdale, the daughter of Santosh Jagdale, another victim, spoke of the emotional weight of the operation’s announcement. “I cried a lot after hearing the name of the operation… This is a true tribute to the people killed by terrorists,” she said.

The families, while still mourning their losses, found solace in the strong response from the Indian Army and the assurance that their loved ones had not been forgotten.
