Former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad Reviews Key Infrastructure Projects in Patna
Patna: Former Union Minister and Patna Sahib MP Ravi Shankar Prasad conducted a crucial meeting with officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Thursday to discuss the progress of significant infrastructure projects in the region. During the meeting, Prasad emphasized the importance of expediting development works, providing necessary guidance for the completion of various projects, including a 6-lane elevated bridge parallel to the JP Setu.
The proposed 6-lane elevated bridge, estimated at a cost of Rs3200 crores, is set to run parallel to the JP Setu on river Ganga. Additionally, Prasad reviewed the status of a 4-lane elevated flyover from AIIMS to Anisabad, which comes with a budget of Rs 1000 crores. He directed officials to ensure the swift progress of these projects and engaged with senior officials to initiate the construction of a bridge in Kala Diara.
The Patna Sahib MP underscored the importance of boosting development efforts in Patna and expressed satisfaction with the productive discussions surrounding ongoing and upcoming projects under the Patna Sahib constituency.
“To solve the problems of the people in the area and ensure smooth transportation, I am making every effort to address road-related issues in both urban and rural areas,” said Prasad. He affirmed the continuous efforts from all levels to complete road construction projects through various schemes, including National Highway, State Highway, and Rural Road initiatives.
