Patna: A fifteen-day summer art awareness workshop will be held in Patna from May 30 to June 13, jointly organised by the Department of Art, Culture and Youth and the Bihar Lalit Kala Academy. The programme will take place at the Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir campus on Fraser Road.

Open to children aged 8 to 16 years, the workshop aims to cultivate interest in the arts and promote Bihar’s rich tradition of folk forms. Participants will receive hands-on training in crafts such as Venu Shilp, Madhubani painting, Tikuli art, and terracotta work.

Entry is free, but spots are limited to 30 participants per art form. Registration is open on a first-come, first-served basis, and each child can enroll in only one art discipline. The last date to apply is May 28.
