Fresher’s Day Celebrations Conclude with Enthusiastic Performances at Patna Women’s College
Patna: Patna Women’s College concluded a spirited three-day Fresher’s Day programme on Wednesday. The final day saw enthusiastic participation from various departments, including Geography, Political Science, Economics, English, Mathematics, BBA, Philosophy, Home Science, Fashion Designing, and MBIO.
Students showcased their diverse talents through a series of performances, including songs, dance routines, poetry recitations, thematic dances, and skits. The event was a testament to the vibrant campus life and the students’ eagerness to engage in extracurricular activities.
The Cultural Committee, comprising Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Sister Nelsa A.C., Sister Anna A.C., Dr. Manjula Sushila, Dr. Jaya Philip, Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Dr. Vinita Priyedarshi, Ms. Manisha Prasad, Dr. Prabhat Jha, Ms. Amrita Prakash, Adweetiya Sinha, Rajeev Ranjan, Enakshi Dey Biswas, and Puja Kumari, oversaw the event, ensuring its smooth execution.
The highlight of the programme was the selection of ‘Miss Fresher’ from each department, celebrating the talents and personalities of the new students. The winners included Annu Kumari (Geography), Saumya Suchi (Political Science), Shiwangi (Economics), Bhawna Anand (English), Jyoti Jha (Mathematics), Shreshtha Narayan (BBA), Tanya Kumari (Philosophy), Khushboo Kumari (Home Science), Ambika Singh (Fashion Designing), and Aishwarya Ambrish (MBIO).
