Security Tightened for Holi and Ramzan

While Holi celebrations took place across Bihar, including in Patna, security was heightened due to the ongoing month of Ramzan. Friday also marked the second namaz of the holy month, leading to increased police deployment.

In Bhagalpur, security personnel from the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) monitored the situation as namaz was offered near the Tatarpur Mosque. Authorities used CCTV cameras and drones to ensure law and order.

A moment of communal harmony was witnessed in Saharsa, where several Muslim devotees joined in Holi celebrations after offering Friday prayers. Similarly, near Patna Junction’s Jama Masjid, worshippers exchanged Holi greetings after namaz.
