Gold Prices in Patna Edge Lower to Rs 9,320 per Gram Amid Global Profit-Taking

Patna : Gold prices in Patna saw a slight decline on Thursday, with 24-karat gold priced at Rs 9,320 per gram, down from Rs 9,556 earlier this week. The price for 22-karat gold stood at Rs 8,540 per gram, while 18-karat gold was priced at Rs 6,980 per gram.

This dip mirrors global trends, where spot gold eased to $3,339.37 per ounce after reaching a record high of $3,357.40 earlier in the session. The decline is attributed to profit-taking by investors following the recent surge in gold prices.

Despite the slight decrease, demand in Patna remains robust, especially with the wedding and festive season approaching. Local jewellers report steady customer interest, particularly in 22-karat jewellery. “There has been a visible increase in customer inquiries and bookings,” said a local gold trader.

Experts advise consumers to monitor live gold rates closely, as prices are influenced by international market trends, currency fluctuations, and local taxes. Analysts suggest that, despite short-term corrections, gold prices may continue to rise amid ongoing geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainties.

Consumers in Patna are encouraged to make informed decisions to maximize value during this period of price volatility.
