Grand Celebrations Across Bihar as Ayodhya Marks Lord Ram's Consecration

Patna: The consecration of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya is being celebrated with fervor and enthusiasm across Bihar today. Devotees from various districts have been flocking to temples since the early hours of the morning, participating in the joyous occasion. Live telecasts of the consecration were held in multiple temples throughout the state, including the Mahavir Temple in Patna.

In the ISKCON temple of Patna, approximately 100,000 lamps are set to illuminate the surroundings, creating a spectacle of lights. Sitamarhi’s Punaura Dham, the birthplace of Janaki, will be adorned with a stunning display of 51,000 lamps. Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of former CM Lalu Yadav and a minister, shared a message on social media, urging people to introspect and shed the metaphorical Ravana within them, as the followers of Lord Ram never engage in discrimination.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh, representing the parliamentary constituency of Begusarai, expressed his jubilation by dancing during the celebrations of Ram Lalla’s life consecration. He joined the Ramdhun Sankirtan organized at Bhagatpur Ward No. 8, where he energetically danced to the tunes of Ram. Giriraj Singh highlighted the widespread events taking place in every village, street, and town, where people are immersed in welcoming Ramlala with overwhelming emotions.

In Kodari, Siwan, a yagya and procession were organized for the consecration of Lord Shri Ram. The procession featured elephants, horses, and musical instruments, accompanied by a tableau depicting Ram, Lakshman, and Sita.

Sitaram Temple in Bagaha witnessed a program organized by MLA Ram Singh and Rajya Sabha MP Satish Chandra Dubey. Bhajan sessions resonated during the event.

Begusarai saw a massive procession organized by the Jaimangala Vahini family to mark the consecration of the Ram temple. The procession, originating from GD College, featured children dressed as Ram, Lakshman, Sita, and Hanuman. Thousands of participants filled the streets, echoing with chants of Jai Shri Ram. The Shobha Yatra, starting from GD College, traversed through Har Har Mahadev Chowk, Subhash Chowk, and Traffic Chowk before reaching the Naulakha Temple complex amidst tight security arrangements.
