According to hospital officials, over 47 patients were admitted to the emergency wards of PMCH, AIIMS Patna, and IGIMS, while the rest were discharged after receiving first aid. At IGIMS alone, 12 people remained hospitalized till Sunday due to injuries from road accidents.

Apart from accident-related cases, several people sought medical help due to color irritation in their eyes. IGIMS Medical Superintendent Dr. Manish Mandal stated that most patients were being treated in the Skin, Pulmonary Medicine (Asthma), and Eye departments. Some individuals also reported food poisoning symptoms after consuming festive treats.
