IIT Patna and Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology Sign MOU to Boost Regional Collaboration
Patna: In a significant step towards enhancing academic and research collaboration, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna and Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT) Muzaffarpur have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed on September 17, by Professor T.N. Singh, Director of IIT Patna, and Dr. M.K. Jha, Principal of MIT Muzaffarpur.
Prof. T.N. Singh, Director of IIT Patna, said, “Signing this MoU is a significant milestone in our pursuit of academic and research excellence. We look forward to a productive collaboration with MIT Muzaffarpur that will drive innovation and address key challenges.”
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by distinguished faculty and staff from both institutions, including Professor A.K. Thakur, Dean of Academics and Administration; Dr. Anup Keshari, Associate Dean of R&D; Dr. N.K. Tomar, Associate Dean of Resources; Dr. Subrat Hait, Dean of Postgraduate Studies; Dr. Sushant Kumar, Dean of Undergraduate Studies; Dr. Vaibhav Singhal; Dr. Arvind Jha, Head of IWD; Dr. Ram Krishna Bag, and Dr. A.K. Verma, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Kripa Shankar Singh among others.
This MoU establishes a framework for collaboration across various fields, including joint research activities, faculty exchange, and sharing of academic resources. It also outlines plans for organizing joint conferences and seminars to foster dialogue on topics of mutual interest.
