Nawada: An illegal mini gun factory was busted in Khalsa Dhivari village, under the Mufassil police station area, on Sunday. The raid was carried out jointly by the Nawada Police and Bihar’s Special Task Force (STF).
A cache of firearms, including three country-made rifles, three pistols, and numerous semi-manufactured pistol parts, was seized during the operation. An FIR has been registered at the Mufassil police station in connection with the incident.
According to Station In-charge Mrityunjay Kumar, the STF had received intelligence that two residents of Khalsa Dhivari village, Karu Mistri and his associate Goru Miyan, were operating an illegal arms factory. Acting on this tip-off, the STF conducted a raid, leading to the recovery of several weapons and materials used in their manufacturing. Notably, Karu Mistri has previous charges under the Arms Act, making this operation a major success for law enforcement.
