India-Pakistan Ceasefire: Tejashwi Yadav Demands Special Parliamentary Session

Patna: A ceasefire between India and Pakistan has been declared, effective from 5 PM today. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri confirmed the agreement earlier in the evening, stating that both nations have pledged to cease hostilities across water, land, and sky.
In the wake of this development, RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, Leader of the Opposition in Bihar, has called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convene a special session of Parliament. Tejashwi took to social media, urging the Prime Minister to provide a detailed account of events, from the terrorist incident in Pahalgam to the ceasefire.
He emphasized the need for the government to foster national unity, encouraging a collective expression of support for the bravery of the Indian Army. Tejashwi’s demand also includes issuing a unified message condemning terrorism, particularly highlighting Pakistan’s role as a “laboratory of terror.”
