Jamui/Patna: In a remarkable display of determination and academic discipline, Sanskriti Trivedi from Jamui, Bihar, has secured All India Rank 17 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024, reinforcing her place among India’s brightest young minds.
This is not her first success at the country’s toughest competitive examination. Sanskriti had earlier cleared the UPSC exam in 2022 with an AIR 352. Her consistent performance has turned her into a beacon of inspiration for thousands of aspirants, especially those preparing without formal coaching.
What makes her achievement all the more striking is that Sanskriti relied primarily on self-study, guided by test series from a coaching institute and the unwavering support of her family. “I prepared at home and stayed focused on my goal. My parents’ encouragement and my sister’s support were my pillars,” said Sanskriti.
The daughter of Anand Prakash Trivedi and Sunita Trivedi, she has been a dedicated student since childhood. Her father shared that she had always shown academic promise and pursued her UPSC dream with unrelenting focus.
A Political Science graduate from Gargi College, Delhi University, Sanskriti scored 75% in her final year in 2019. She completed her schooling at Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamli, Ranchi, scoring a perfect 10 CGPA in Class 10 and 9.4 CGPA in Class 12.
During her UPSC preparation, Sanskriti committed to a strict study regime of 15–17 hours a day. She credits discipline, consistency, and emotional resilience as the key factors behind her success.
With her second triumph at the UPSC, Sanskriti Trivedi has not only brought pride to her hometown of Jamui but also offered a powerful message to aspiring civil servants: with the right mindset and commitment, excellence is within reach.
