Jesus and Mary Academy Bids Farewell to Class 10 Students With Grand Celebration
Patna: Jesus and Mary Academy organized a farewell function on Saturday, 8 February 2025, for its class 10 students, marking a day filled with emotions, celebrations, and memorable moments. Dressed in colorful attire, the students embraced the occasion with enthusiasm, making the campus resemble a festive gathering.
The event began with Ish Vandana (a devotional prayer), followed by a traditional kumkum welcome for the departing students by their juniors from class 9. Addressing the gathering, Principal Pooja N Sharma expressed her heartfelt emotions, emphasizing that the farewell was not a goodbye, but rather a moment of anticipation for a future reunion when students return after achieving their dreams.
Selection of Mr and Miss Jesus and Mary Academy
A key highlight of the farewell was the selection of ‘Mr and Miss Jesus and Mary Academy’. A panel of teachers, Rajiv Kumar and Gaurav Raj Pandey, shortlisted three boys and three girls from the outgoing batch and posed questions to them. Those who answered with clarity and intelligence were crowned by Principal Pooja N Sharma, School Director Ambrose Patrick, and Deputy Director Abhishek Patrick.

- Mr Cordial and Miss Congenial – Venkateshwar and Archana Kumari

- Mr Handsome and Miss Beautiful – Animesh Kumar and Sahiba Fatima
A Heartfelt Goodbye
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by School Director Ambrose Patrick, who extended his best wishes to students for their upcoming board exams. The farewell was hosted by teacher Inos Jones along with class 9 students Avantika Kumari and Aashifa. As a token of remembrance, students were presented with mementos before bidding an emotional farewell.
