Jesus and Mary Academy Hosts Welcome Event for New Students and Parents, Emphasises Partnership in Holistic Growth

Patna : Jesus and Mary Academy held a welcome event on Friday for newly enrolled students and their parents, focusing on academic orientation and fostering a collaborative approach to student development.
Held on the school premises, the event was inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by the school’s director, Ambrose Patrick, and senior teacher Mukesh Kumar Ojha. Students kicked off the programme with a vibrant welcome dance that drew enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The event included additional cultural performances and fun activities designed to engage both children and their families. Games and interactive sessions added to the festive spirit, with parents actively participating in the celebrations.
Addressing the gathering, Director Ambrose Patrick highlighted the vital role of parental involvement in students’ all-round growth. “While our teachers are fully committed to nurturing your children, your support as parents is essential. School and family must work hand in hand to ensure a bright future for our students,” he said.
Several parents shared their thoughts and pledged their support through suggestions and collaboration. The event was anchored by teacher Geetanjali Verma, with significant contributions from faculty members Navya Kumari, Archana Thakur, and Tanisha Kumari.
Concluding the ceremony, the director thanked all attendees for making time from their busy schedules and assured parents that similar engagement programmes would continue throughout the academic year.
