Patna: A 24-year-old YouTuber from Jharkhand, identified as Ayesha, was found dead in her rented apartment in the Hasanpura area under Beur police station in Patna. Police suspect suicide by ingestion of sulphas tablets.
Ayesha, a resident of Jasidih in Jharkhand, had been living alone in Patna while her husband, Rishikesh Yadav, works in Bokaro. The two had married just three months ago. According to police, her phone had been switched off since 10 pm on Tuesday, prompting concern from her husband and family. When relatives arrived at her flat, they found the door locked from inside.
Authorities were informed, and the door was broken in the presence of a magistrate. Ayesha’s body was found inside in a semi-nude state.
Police have seized her mobile phone, laptop, and a personal diary as part of the investigation. The body has been sent to AIIMS, Patna for post-mortem, and an FSL team has collected forensic evidence from the scene.
Neighbours described Ayesha as quiet and reserved, noting that she rarely interacted with others. SDPO Sushil Kumar Singh stated that the cause of death will be confirmed after the post-mortem report is released. The investigation is ongoing.
