Patna: Popular educator and Patna-based YouTuber Faizal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, has delivered a sharp condemnation of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which left over two dozen people dead, including tourists and an Intelligence Bureau officer from Bihar.
Speaking emotionally about the incident, Khan Sir, who was present in Pahalgam at the time of the attack, said the terrorists targeted unarmed civilians, calling them “cowards nurtured by Pakistan” who lacked the courage to face the Indian Army. “They attack innocents because they know they cannot defeat our soldiers,” he said.
Describing the victims of the attack, Khan Sir said “a father was killed, someone’s husband shot just a week after his wedding — this is the height of cruelty and cowardice.” He also recounted how terrorists allegedly spared a woman, telling her to “go and tell the government what happened here.”
He alleged that victims were questioned about their religion, and some were reportedly forced to recite the Kalma, a declaration of Islamic faith. “When you ask people to recite Kalma, it becomes clear what kind of extremist mindset is behind such attacks,” Khan Sir said. “People often say terrorism has no religion, but this raises serious questions.”
Expressing concern that the attack could reverse the peace that had returned to the Valley after the abrogation of Article 370, he said, “It took years to normalise Kashmir, and such acts could once again spread fear among tourists and locals alike.”
Khan Sir appealed to the government to take stricter measures to ensure the safety of civilians and tourists, and reiterated that such atrocities must not go unanswered.
