Muzaffarpur: Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, popularly known as Lallan Singh, addressed a JDU workers’ conference in Muzaffarpur, outlining the NDA’s ambitious goal of winning 220 seats in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. The event, held at LS College, saw a grand turnout of party workers, with senior BJP leader and former minister Suresh Sharma also in attendance.
Speaking to journalists, Lallan Singh emphasized that the NDA’s recent by-election victories in Bihar, including Belaganj—a seat held by the RJD for 35 years—demonstrate the coalition’s growing strength. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the most popular leader in the country and expressed confidence that the NDA would replicate its success in Maharashtra by securing a massive majority in Bihar.
Highlighting the NDA’s momentum, Singh pointed to the four-seat sweep in the by-elections as evidence of widespread public support. He dismissed opposition challenges, likening them to a market where various “shops” open temporarily, but claimed they hold no real significance against the NDA’s solid foundation.
The workers’ conference was organized in connection with the Tirhut Graduate by-election. Singh assured the gathered workers that the NDA’s strategy and strong leadership would pave the way for an overwhelming victory in 2025. The event reinforced the coalition’s unity and determination to secure a decisive mandate in Bihar.
