Patna: In a significant political development, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has expelled his elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, from the party for a period of six years.
The decision, announced by Lalu Prasad Yadav, cites Tej Pratap’s “activities, public conduct, and irresponsible behavior” as reasons for the stringent action.
This move comes amidst a fresh wave of controversy surrounding Tej Pratap. On Saturday evening, a picture was posted from his Facebook account claiming, “I have been in a relationship with Anushka Yadav for 12 years.” This post, which quickly gained traction, was deleted shortly after.
Approximately five hours after the controversial Facebook post, Tej Pratap Yadav took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to claim his account had been hacked. He stated that the post was fake and the accompanying photo was edited.
