Langat Singh College Celebrates 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervour

Muzaffarpur: Langat Singh College in Muzaffarpur marked the 76th Republic Day with enthusiasm and a deep sense of patriotism. The celebrations took place at Rajendra Smriti Park, where Principal Prof. Om Prakash Roy unfurled the Tricolour, receiving a rousing round of applause from students and staff.

In his address, Prof. Roy reflected on the significance of Republic Day, emphasizing that it is far more than a public holiday—it is a tribute to India’s struggle for freedom and its commitment to democratic values. He encouraged students to rise to the challenges facing the nation, including poverty, unemployment, and environmental degradation.

“The future of India rests on your shoulders,” Prof. Roy said, urging students to take responsibility and work towards building a prosperous and equitable nation. He also highlighted the college’s ongoing efforts to improve academic infrastructure, announcing the approval of several new projects aimed at enhancing the learning environment.

The event featured a spirited cultural program by NCC and NSS cadets, showcasing their talent and dedication. Outstanding performers were recognized and awarded by Prof. Roy, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

The occasion was attended by notable faculty members, including Prof. S.R. Chaturvedi, Prof. Pushpa Kumari, Prof. Jaykant Singh, Prof. Sunil Mishra, NCC Officer Lt. (Dr.) Rajiv Kumar, and NSS Program Officer Dr. Rituraj Kumar.
