Minister Maheshwar Hazari Inspires Officials to Connect with Citizens and Amplify State Welfare Initiatives in Patna

Patna: Minister of the Information and Public Relations Department, Maheshwar Hazari, held a review meeting with regional officials to discuss the dissemination of state government schemes to the public. He emphasized the importance of informing citizens about the government’s initiatives under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, highlighting the accelerated pace of development in Bihar, particularly in road infrastructure and welfare schemes aimed at improving the lives of residents.
During the meeting, the Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, Vaibhav Srivastava, provided a comprehensive review of the department’s activities at the district and divisional levels. He stressed the need for enhanced publicity regarding the government’s initiatives through social media platforms. Srivastava urged regional officers to engage with the community using ‘Facebook Live’ sessions, allowing for real-time interaction and resolution of public concerns.
The director also outlined guidelines for raising awareness about essential government schemes through traditional media channels. He directed officials to ensure that the benefits of these initiatives reach the intended beneficiaries promptly, reinforcing the government’s commitment to transparency and accessibility.
Present at the meeting were several departmental and district-level officers, including Joint Secretary Sanjay Krishna, Joint Director Ravi Bhushan Sahay, and Special Officer Kumaril Satyanandan. The collaborative efforts discussed in this meeting aim to strengthen the connection between the government and the public, ensuring that citizens are well-informed about their rights and available services.
