MSME Ministry Hosts Entrepreneurship Awareness Program in Gaya; Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Constituency Witnesses Push for Industrial Growth

Gaya: An entrepreneurship awareness program was held at the ITI Centre in Mahkar village, Khijarsarai, Gaya district—part of the constituency of Union MSME minister Jitan Ram Manjhi. The event, organized by the MSME Development Office, Patna, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), saw active participation from educated unemployed youth, including women, men, and students.

Sanjeev Azad, Grade 1 (IES) and Assistant Director at the MSME Development Office, encouraged participants to transform from job seekers to job providers by setting up local industries. He detailed MSME activities and objectives, aiming to foster economic self-reliance in the region.

Sunil Kumar Agnihotri, Assistant Director Grade 1, emphasized the Ministry’s role in reducing unemployment and highlighted various schemes available to entrepreneurs. Vandana, General Manager of the District Industry Centre, Gaya, elaborated on the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Karyakram, urging attendees to leverage government initiatives.

Rajesh Singh, Leading Bank Manager at Punjab National Bank, Gaya, explained the financial support available to budding entrepreneurs. R.N. Singh of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission encouraged villagers to establish industries, while Iqbal Ansari, Chief Manager at NSIC, addressed industrial opportunities in rural areas.

Local leaders and experts, including Ravindra Prasad, Principal of ITI Mahkar, and Ankesh Kumar, spoke about the untapped industrial potential in villages. Rajesh Kumar Singh, Subhash Kumar, and Rupak Kumar also inspired attendees to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
