Mukhya Mantri Udyami Yojna Opens: Bihar Industry Department Invites Applications

Patna: The Bihar Industry Department has opened the window of Mukhya Mantri Udyami Yojna, offering Rs 10 lakhs to young entrepreneurs to establish industries in the state. Applications for the Udyami Yojana 2024-25 are now open on the Industries Department’s official website, udyami.bihar.gov.in, with a submission deadline of July 31, 2024.
Sandeep Poundrik, Additional Chief Secretary of the Industries Department, emphasized the importance of timely submissions with all required documents to avoid disqualification.
To be eligible, applicants must be permanent residents of Bihar aged between 18 and 50 years. Selected applicants will receive Rs 10 lakhs as a subsidy and loan to start their enterprise, which must be repaid in easy installments. Applications are accepted exclusively online through the Industries Department’s official website.
The required documents include a permanent residency certificate, matriculation certificate (to verify date of birth), intermediate or equivalent qualification certificate, caste certificate, Aadhaar card, PAN card, photograph, signature sample, bank statement, and a cancelled cheque.
This year’s selection process is divided into five categories: Chief Minister Scheduled Caste/Tribe Entrepreneur Scheme, Extremely Backward Class Entrepreneur Scheme, Women Entrepreneur Scheme, Youth Entrepreneur Scheme, and Minority Entrepreneur Scheme. Approximately 9,200 beneficiaries will be selected, including 1,200 under the Minority Entrepreneur Scheme.
